Position: 2SLGBTQIAA+ Community Educator
Status: Part time, Fixed term contract effective until, February 29th, 2024
Hours: 20 hours/week
Start Date: on or after April 3rd, 2023
Salary: $35.75/hr

TransCare+ is seeking a 2SLGBTQIAA+ Community Educator to support our new project, Queer and Gender Diverse Access to Knowledge Enhancement and Care Navigation in Rural ON. The 2SLGBTQIAA+ Community Educator will be responsible for assisting in the development of community-based educational workshops on various health and wellness topics, delivering educational workshops to 2SLGBTQIAA+ communities, and engaging rurally-located 2SLGBTQIAA+ folks in knowledge translation and educational programming. The 2SLGBTQIAA+ Community Educator will work closely with a Steering Committee, Two-Spirit Education Coordinator, Two-Spirit Health Outreach Worker, and Education Coordinator to carry out project activities.
