Centre for Sexuality Opportunity

Many partners in Calgary, including United Way of Calgary (UWCA) and The Social Impact Lab, have come together to on an important project called Planet Youth. Through Planet Youth, they are exploring the future of what youth wellness looks like in Calgary, but they need your help to do it.

If you (or someone you know a part of the 2SLGBTQINA+ Community) are between the ages of 12 to 17 years old and interested, join one of our upcoming sessions! These events will be fun, fast and creative workshops about building ideas. Planet Youth, alongside the community, will ideas forward and turn them into real solutions and positive change. It's a great opportunity to learn design thinking and skills in innovation, develop leadership skills, have an impact in your community and, most importantly, have fun.

There will be two separate sessions: one for youth aged 12-14 (Weds, November 10th from 3:00-5:00 pm) and another for youth aged 15-17 (Thurs, November 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm). They will be in-person, following COVID-19 procedures & protocols (double vaccination required, masked, social distanced) at the Centre for Sexuality office, downtown Calgary (1509 Centre St S, Calgary, AB T2G 2E6).
